Hello
Hi there!

Still alive, but too busy and too inmersed in other things to be currently at LiveJournal. Life changes, doesn't it? :D
University going well and life too.

I'm afraid I'm leaving LJ... No time and very busy in other sites. But if you need something, just ask :)

Take care, all of you!!

Hello there!
Above all, I'm really sorry about not being so active in Livejournal those times. I've been without computer some weeks, and I've started University and maybe I'll start working soon :D but I'll try to read you from time to time.

Anyway, if you want me for something, just tell me!

Only wanted you to know I'm fine ;)

Thanks a lot.

PS: my Introduction to American Literature teacher is GREAT. LOL

Looooooooooost in fandom!
I'm really sorry for being so silent and far from LJ. I'm trying to have fun my last free weeks before coming back to University. Books, drawings, lots of writing, videogames... And a strong HP fandom mood, lol!

I'll be reading you! If you need me for something just tell me.

See you!

Secret agent man?
Spanish only, sorry. But I'm only commenting this fantastic and I hope true (PLEEEEASE) theory about Percy Weasley.

:)

YAY!

No more exams until July! But I have to study a lot, of course, and fortunately I have all June. But 28th is my birthday and I'm not going to study a thing! =P

What is more, I'm REALLY happy with my marks in exams!!! In Classic Mythology I obtained the highest! *blushes* I only need to know the mark for French Languague, but I think it will be fine.

Kisses!

Meme time!
Been tagged by [info]elina_elsu some weeks ago!
(better late than never) Kiitos! :P

Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1- One of the things I REALLY wish to do is going to Paris and visit Oscar Wilde's graveyard : )
2- I'm studying English language and its literature at university.
3- My cat Sansa is named after my favorite character from the books A Song of Ice and Fire.
4- Maybe I will go to England in my third year (Erasmus)
5- I love the sound of a heartbeat. I find it really relaxing.
6- I have more than 10 types of tea in my kitchen and know about 50... I love tea!!!
7- I cannot stand an argument. I get sick, literally  -_-
8- I wish I could play the violin...

I think I'm not going to tag anyone, because lots of people in my LJ list had been already tagged  XD Just do it if you want. It will be really interesting to read : )

I did it, LOL! The Young Sherlock Holmes community!

It's really small and undone, by the moment... The design is just provisional. If somebody want to make a layout for this, you cannot imagine how grateful I will be! I will draw for you anything you want, if you want me to : ) I have lots of images if you need.

Let's see how many people will end joining : )

I'm thinking about create a YSH community... But the problem is that is not a popular fandom and I'm sure we're going to be... three members? LOL.

Still fighting against hot; temperature is getting a bit warmer, not too hot, but still unbereable. Also, yesterday my parrot suffered a heat stroke : ( Luckily he is better now.

hot hot hot hot hot hot hot

It's TOO hot. TOO hot. I'm totally down :( The humid... is unbereable. We have reached almost 40ºC today. This is not too much fun for a person with low blood pressure like me. I only want to lay in bed and forget exams... and expositions... and drawings... But I can't -__- So... it's time for cold-FREEZE things. And aspirines, lol. And we are only in Spring... I just have shivers thinking of Summer ........
We have calima again! Calima is the Spanish word for sirocco, dust from the Sahara desert. Is the most unbereable and horrible and hideous thing! There is a brown line in the horizon, over the sea. People who is allergic to dust or have ashma suffer a lot... I have a terrible headache and a sore nose.

Just look at this. There are the Canary Islands, where I live; a satelitte photograph taken in 2001, when a terrible sirocco took us. That brown thing is dust. That only island you can see is the most occidental one. I live behind all that dust LOL. Yes, behind all that dust there are five more islands, included mine, LOL!

I can't stand this anymore....... I have to leave, my head is going to explode >__<

JERKS!
O no salir, simplemente.

ENGLISH:

Just... to go out must be banned for some people. Today, in the bus, a totally unknown stupid jerk laughed at  a friend and me because we were talking like the two good friends we are. Maybe we talk too much, but, it is a crime?? it is necessary to be SO MEAN... She and her friend were laughing, calling we hideous things, tearing up a paper saying "Hey you, just come here, and pick up this paper, so you can SHUT UP because I've a headache!!" with all the other people there! I started trembling, I started to feel REALLY bad (I suffer from severe anxiety, you can imagine) and I had to tell her some things. I didn't want to play her game, but I had to... And she insulted us back while going off the bus. I wish some day she faces with a person MORE MEAN THAN HER. I love when people take  their own medicine...

Damn people :( Sorry for the words I'm using, but I'm really flattered.

Busy times and Blackadder

Maybe you've realized I hardly post anything or comment. Well, University is taking all my time right now, and it will be doing for the next week. But I read you very often ; ) Next weekend I have a little vacation until Thursday, and I'll try to comment more.

My cousin and I are assisting thursdays and fridays to a 20 hours course at the University about Contemporary British Humour, and we are having a GREAT time. We're really enjoying the course : )
We have studied the topics, personalities, and characteristics of the humour, some jokes, and have watched Monthy Python sketches, and some series like Fawlty Towers (the moose... HELLOOO, I CAN SPEAK ENGLISH... LOL), Allo Allo, The Royle Family, Mind your Language ... and Blackadder!! I have fallen in love, absolutely hooked on the series, are so funny and so hilarious! Yesterday I bought the whole series in a wonderful DVD pack. Hours of fun are coming in my little spare time!

Hugh Laurie is SO hilarious. I can hardly believe he was only in his 20s at the time of doing this series. And the jokes with language are great, especially for an English Philology student like me. I nearly die laughing with things like this:

Dr. Samuel Johnson: [places two manuscripts on the table, but picks up the top one] Here it is, sir. The very cornerstone of English scholarship. This book, sir, contains every word in our beloved language.
Blackadder: Every single one, sir?
Dr. Samuel Johnson: Every single word, sir!
Blackadder: Oh, well, in that case, sir, I hope you will not object if I also offer the Doctor my most enthusiastic contrafribularities.
Dr. Samuel Johnson: What?
Blackadder: "Contrafribularites", sir? It is a common word down our way.
Dr. Samuel Johnson: Damn!
[writes in the book]
Blackadder: Oh, I'm sorry, sir. I'm anispeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericombobulation.

[referring to Dr. Johnson's dictionary]
Blackadder: Right, Baldrick. Where's the manuscript?
Baldrick: You mean the big papery thing tied up with string?
Blackadder: Yes, Baldrick. The manuscript belonging to Dr. Johnson.
Baldrick: You mean the baity fellow in the black coat who just left?
Blackadder: Yes, Baldrick. Dr. Johnson.
Baldrick: So, you're asking where the big papery thing tied up with string belonging to the baity fellow in the black coat who just left is?
Blackadder: Yes, Baldrick. I am. And if you don't answer, then the booted bony thing with five toes at the end of my leg will soon connect sharply with soft, dangly collection of objects in your trousers. Now for the last time, Baldrick, where is Dr. Johnson's manuscript?
Baldrick: On the fire.
Blackadder: On the *what*?
Baldrick: The hot, orangy thing under the stony mantelpiece.

Blackadder: [rewriting the dictionary] Baldrick, what have you done?
Baldrick: I've done "C" and "D."
Blackadder: Right. Let's have it, then.
Baldrick: Right. "Big blue wobbly thing that mermaids live in."
Blackadder: What's that?
Baldrick: "C."
Blackadder: Yes. Tiny misunderstanding. Still, my hopes weren't high. Oh, and "D?"
Baldrick: I'm quite pleased with "dog."
Blackadder: Yes, and your definition of "dog" is?
Baldrick: "Not a cat."

Depressed again...

I hate that emotional rollercoaster. I'm very stressed and we only are in April... What is going to happen in final exams, then?? >__O

Anyway... I've noticed people hardly read me here... My interests and things are really uncommon, I know... my LJ is kinda boring, but I don't want to talk about things I don't like just to get comments. What is more, English is not my language and there are a lof of things I would love to say but I can't. But I love to read you all. I joined this site to improve my English and skills, and I have met wonderful people.

I'm feeling "strange". Gah, please, don't take me in account. I suffer that existencial questions very often, lol :D

Draughtman's Contract and Aquarius

Last weekend, having a Indiana Jones' films night, I realised that Anthony Higgins (Rathe in my beloved film Young Sherlock Holmes :D) appears in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and the curiosity made me search for him in the web. I found a very curious picture from a film I've never heard before called The Draughtman's Contract. So I thought it would be nice to see, I need to practise my English, and I found Mr. Higgins quite interesting, hehe :D

Today I could get the film and I'm going to watch it this holiday (Easter!). Do some of you know that film?

But the most funny thing came with the soundtrack... the main theme I just ...WOA! It is one of the best known music I ever have heard, what a coincidence! It was composed by Michael Nyman and is named Chasing Sheep is Best Left to Sheperds.

Other funny stuff: those days, a group of Coca Cola promoters with a portable fridge are giving free Aquarius (version 3, the Cola flavour) near my University. It is really funny to see all students with one, two, maybe three bottles... And a busdriver, driving the bus, surrounded by Aquarius bottles!

Hehehe, now we have four bottles in the fridge :D

Holmes and other things
It is being rumored that Russel Crowe may play Holmes in a new Hollywood-stuff-Holmes-movie. The notice haven't been well received among fans, who have a huge list of another possible Holmes like Hugh Laurie (lovely!), Adrien Brody (I like this one), Alan Rickman, Jasoon Isaacs... And nobody think on Nicholas - my poor boy! He is so unappreciated. Lol. Gah, a unknown actor that is not a star and those things... I understand it, but this doesn't mean I like it ... Sorry, fandom pride XD

Ah. In case I haven't said it before, I'm also a big House M.D fan. The resemblances with Sherlock Holmes are SO funny!! This is not the main reason I love House, of course.

Nicholas has a new play!! He casts again with James Wallace- they must be good friends, hehehe...
